Inspiration

Sometimes a creator makes a full outfit and you just feel like you really don't need to add a thing.  This was one of those outfits for me, it was just super cute, and all of the right accessories came with it.

Most  of these items were gacha goodies that Miss K gave me from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.  I found the henna at an event called The Thrift Shop.  I was lucky enough to get a modify version of my shape from the store owner, since it was originally a gacha goodie too.

Guest Blogger

For those of you that saw the pictures I posted of my friend here on the blog, you already know I have been helping someone out with styling tips and learning SL.  I think she is starting to pick some things up on her own, so I am going to let her start contributing to the blog.  For now her pictures with the posts will probably just be those artistic ones I have done for her, but I will see if I can find time to get the detail shots of her also.  I will also do what I can to teach her about the basics of SL photography, so she can start doing things herself =)

Inspiration

I have always loved belly dance, and this lovely set was a great inspiration for a more traditional costume.  It's actually nice to see something more modest for dancers, yet still sexy, and there were some really great accessories to pair with it from other creators.

My apologies

I'm sorry everyone that I never announced a break from blogging, but it seems I needed a bit of one.  Things have been a bit trying in real life, and I haven't been feeling too well.  I am going to try to get a few posts up this coming week, not just because I have sponsors with work to put out, but because I like sharing with all of you.

Hi there loyal fashionistas!  I know I haven't blogged in about a week or so.  Weather in real life has been interesting, and I've been trying to focus on a few other things.

I seem to be an excellent spokesperson for SL sometimes, and have managed to drag a real friend into the game and get her set up for one of the roleplay realms.  Helping her put her look together has been fun, though I am lucky she had great ideas to start.  As she has developed a few of her looks, I have tried to take some pictures for her, but I realize that I am really not that great at adding just an avatar to a background picture and making it look right.  Maybe she can help me keep practicing.  I really have to figure out how shadows and lighting work.  Curse my non-artistic mind!
