What I've been up to

We've been working our butts off after getting a late add to the upcoming We Love Roleplay anniversary round in May.  Here's a WIP shot:

Don't poke a caged tiger!

Okay socialites, I need help and/or clueing in.
The most public places I go out to are shopping events. If I'm not out taking pictures (which I prefer to be in a very low use sim for), I am generally at the workshop attached to our house. I don't go out looking for friends or anything.

So yesterday I get a message from someone I don't know.
"[2015/04/29 03:32:27] xxx Resident: (Saved Tue Apr 28 22:28:28 2015)hi cutie) wow!) you are very beautiful and elegant girl) very cute) How are you feeling?
[2015/04/29 03:32:42] Second Life: xxx is offering friendship." I guess maybe I had just logged, who knows. I am naturally suspicious and sorry to say, still really suspect anyone who has the surname Resident. (This is my 10th year in SL, sue me for thinking that the name means noob. I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that people just restarted avatars for some reason.) I asked how they found me, but they were offline. I didn't expect that I would ever get an answer.

Tonight, while working out stuff for We<3RP, apparently he decided to message me back. He wrote back, "I've found you, somewhere in the shop you saw. then you wrote." He got my autoresponse from Firestorm, offered friendship twice, did the "hello? you here??" thing, tried to send me an object, tried to get me to answer some more, sent me 9 tp requests, and once again tried a bunch of trying to get me to answers. I finally came back almost 15 minutes later and saw the IMs (which I of course didn't fully read), said sorry, and that I had been in another window. He comes back, tells me his name, and then asks my name.
[00:51:11] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): <-- My name is right there

He said it was nice to meet you, and as someone who is used to dealing with customers, I asked if there was something he wanted.
[00:52:44] xxx: you like dance?
[00:53:03] xxx: come dance with me
[00:53:04] xxx: ok?
[00:53:11] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): No, thank you.
[00:53:46] xxx: why?
[00:53:57] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): 1. I don't know you
[00:54:05] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): 2. I'm actually quite busy
[00:54:35] xxx: ok
[00:54:44] xxx: 1. i am John
[00:54:53] xxx: 2. come dance with me later
[00:55:00] xxx: understend?
[00:55:56] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): Telling me your name does not mean I know you.
[00:56:45] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): And my dancing with strangers in clubs in SL days ended many years ago.
[00:59:47] xxx: I didn't invite you to the club. I invite you to dance on the beach. Going to dance with me and get to know and recognize me closer.
[01:01:16] Katanya Shannara (katanya.mistral): For what purpose?
[01:04:38] xxx: what kind of stupid questions?
[01:05:07] xxx: I get acquainted with you I have shown. I like you and I'm inviting you to dance. What is it else?
[01:06:25] xxx: and add me
[01:06:40] xxx: see you soon on dance

Am I just a bitch? Am I wrong for getting snarky? Is it asking too much for someone to at least read the About portion of my profile? Should I change my Autoresponse to "I'm an old, grumpy bitch; don't bother me unless I know you."?

P.S. And here is how it ended:
[01:16:08] xxx: add me
[01:16:19] xxx: you understend?
[01:16:24] xxx: add me please
[01:16:31] xxx: add me
[01:16:33] xxx: ok?
[01:18:24] xxx: HEY YOU???
[01:18:30] xxx: YOU UNDERSTEND ME???
[01:18:36] xxx: ADD ME I SAID
[01:18:38] xxx: ADDD
[01:18:40] xxx: ADD
[01:18:41] xxx: ADD
[01:18:42] xxx: ADD
[01:18:43] xxx: ADD
[01:18:43] xxx: ADD
