Gacha Yardsale Sorted

So after the massive unlisting of items, I finally have everything back into the gacha yardsale, including Alchemy and Tabou Irresistible items from this round of FGC.  Whew!  Glad that's done.

For some reason a bunch of older gacha items have shown up on the server as not set for sale.  I am not sure why that has happened, but I am slowly going through and getting these products back up for you.

I am also adding a few new items from this current round of FGC.  I just added the two rares from Alchemy to the Armor and Critters vendors.  I am sure they will go quick.  The rest of the clothing from that set and some of the critters will be up soon.

I have needed to dedicate more time to my college courses as they have increased in difficulty.  I have also been at a near constant state of having absolutely nothing for real life finances.  These are just two of the reasons I have not been in SL much over the past few months, and are also why I have not been attending events to gather goods to blog.
I am sorry to the few fans I had.  I did enjoy making new outfits to show you, but without funds in either world, as well as the above problems, I have had to put a halt to my fun.  I do hope you forgive me.

I am so excited to share the new item my Jarl and I are releasing for the June round of We Love Roleplay.  It is super pretty, super comfy, and great for everyone!  Even boys!  I can't wait to see how this does in the upcoming round, and I would love to hear what you think of it!

Mission: Markdown - Complete!

Mission: Markdown is complete!  All gacha items from before May 2015 have been marked down at my gacha yardsale; many items marked down by over 50%.  It wasn't easy going through nearly 1600 items, but I hope everyone appreciates the discounts.

I'm just giving stuff away!

Or at least it feels a bit like I am hehe  I have been slowly adding more inventory to my gacha yardsale, and have decided to reduce the price on older items.  I have 63 pages of inventory on Caspervend.  I have gone through the first 2030 pages and reduced the prices on all gacha items that were released before May 2015, some of them over 50% off.  I will continue to do this slowly (only because I'm really tired, and have sporadic RL plans throughout the weekend), until I have made my way through the lot.

What a busy few weeks!

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for me.  Scrambling to get ready for We Love Roleplay, trying to start getting some things in order again for blogging, and doing my best to maintain and slowly add items to the gacha yardsale.  All of that on top of school full time, midterms, a cold, medicine changes, tons of rain and hail, other RL challenges like finances, and now trying to plan for the next round of We Love Roleplay.  Now if only our sales matched all the effort we've put forth recently hehe!

What I've been up to

Okay socialites, I need help and/or clueing in.
The most public places I go out to are shopping events. If I'm not out taking pictures (which I prefer to be in a very low use sim for), I am generally at the workshop attached to our house. I don't go out looking for friends or anything.

So yesterday I get a message from someone I don't know.

[2015/04/29 03:32:42] Second Life: xxx is offering friendship." I guess maybe I had just logged, who knows. I am naturally suspicious and sorry to say, still really suspect anyone who has the surname Resident. (This is my 10th year in SL, sue me for thinking that the name means noob. I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that people just restarted avatars for some reason.) I asked how they found me, but they were offline. I didn't expect that I would ever get an answer.

Tonight, while working out stuff for We<3RP, apparently he decided to message me back. He wrote back, "I've found you, somewhere in the shop you saw. then you wrote." He got my autoresponse from Firestorm, offered friendship twice, did the "hello? you here??" thing, tried to send me an object, tried to get me to answer some more, sent me 9 tp requests, and once again tried a bunch of trying to get me to answers. I finally came back almost 15 minutes later and saw the IMs (which I of course didn't fully read), said sorry, and that I had been in another window. He comes back, tells me his name, and then asks my name.

Update on Print Availability

So, even though the profits don't promise to be as much as what I can get through ArtPal, I am going to be offering the same prints for sale through my DeviantArt account. This is great for those that would like a few different formats like magnets and mousepads.

By the way, I have been making the effort to have my signature blend in more on the more recent prints, as I feel this might make them appeal more to most folks instead of having a signature glaring at them. I am also going to be making an effort to increase the base size of my pictures so more print sizes will be available.

New Print

For any of you that are familiar with my Homeless Veteran series: Another one of those emotional ones I just had to get out, while I still have the chance.  Within the next 24 hours my bank account will be overdrawn and the panic of the last couple of weeks will be at its height once more.  I have nowhere to turn, no options left that I am aware of; especially since my fundraising through gofundme and my prints has not been fruitful.

Life has simply beaten me down.  It must be time to bleed again.

Most  of these items were gacha goodies that Miss K gave me from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival.  I found the henna at an event called The Thrift Shop.  I was lucky enough to get a modify version of my shape from the store owner, since it was originally a gacha goodie too.

Guest Blogger

For those of you that saw the pictures I posted of my friend here on the blog, you already know I have been helping someone out with styling tips and learning SL.  I think she is starting to pick some things up on her own, so I am going to let her start contributing to the blog.  For now her pictures with the posts will probably just be those artistic ones I have done for her, but I will see if I can find time to get the detail shots of her also.  I will also do what I can to teach her about the basics of SL photography, so she can start doing things herself =)
